As long as humans existed logic did also without people's notice or any care. logic would be discover by Greeks but also open other opportunities such as phyics, biology, politics, and rhetoric. From Plato to Aristotle logic had evolve to what we see today and is helping people to get a grip on reality. Thanks to logic we can now understand how some people are thinking and acting. Philosophy also play a major role because logic surrounds it with study poeple and observing how they mind function.
Aristotle born in the year 384BCE at Stagira in northern Greece he was also the most notable product of the educational program devised by another great philosopher Plato. At Plato's academy Aristotle spent twenty years there studying. When Plato died Aristotle returned to Macedonia, where he was suppose to participated in the education of Philip's son, Alexander (the Great). Aristotle would be the founder of the three laws of logic which is law of identity, law of non-contradiction, and the law of excluded middle. With these logic (also known as Organon) Aristotle aim for a universal method which would make it possible to learn everything there is to know about reality.
The law of identity basically states whatever is, is meaning for example if you see a stick of gum and when you chew it, it taste like gum, then there is noway you can proud it is not gum. The law of non-contradiction states nothing can be and not be. For existence you cannot tell a friend that you are in front of their house if you are just coming down the block because you will be giving false information. The law of excluded middle states everything most either be or not be. A great everyone can relate to is when a friend or family member borrows money from you and they say they have the money, but still not pay you back conflict because either they had he money to pay you back or they did not.
