Introduction

It seems like most people are using this first Blog as an opportunity to introduce themselves so I suppose I will do the same. My name is Spencer Slade. I am currently a Junior at Eastern Michigan University and my major study is Marketing. I graduated from Saline High School just outside of Ann Arbor. After high school I attended Savannah State University on an athletic scholarship to play golf. Unfortunately things did not work out in Georgia, so I was forced to come back to Michigan and enroll at EMU. I continued to play golf my Sophomore year here at EMU but I was once again unfortunate to realize that things were not going to work out like I had hoped. As I stated earlier, I am now a Junior at EMU and work full time. I am employed by both CMB Property Management (Ann Arbor, MI) and The TaylorMade Addidas Golf Company (Carlsbad, Ca).

Although Eastern Michigan was never my first choice, I'll make do. I still consider myself fortunate to be able to attend a university as credited at EMU. I plan to relocate back to Savannah after I graduate and start a marketing company. My plan is to one day build a Marketing Advising Company to assist other companies. My life outside of school and work consist of sports (golf especially), being with friends, and trying to just live every day to the fullest.

It has been my pleasure introducing myself to you all. I hope to read your Blogs and get an idea of who you are as well. Best of luck to all of you this semester.
