There are so many kinds of computers in the computer market. One kind of them once appeals my interest. It is called PDA (personal digital assistant), which has the system----PPC or Palm. It is first said as a new concept by an executive president of Apple company in 1992. Some people prefer playing Palm, but it seems that it is not familiar for new player. Anybody can use it to play games, read books, look up dictionary, and even to watch movies. It is very easy for people who use it first time. I think it caters interests of people who usually go out for work at any time.
We usually can see Linux OS in electronic organizer. Sometimes, it is called the original palm computer, because the producers put element-wise in it. However, people change them very frequently year by year, because they have various kinds and they lack creativity and consistency. PPC was adopted Microsoft control system, which is from WINCE to Window Mobile 7.0. Even though the time is shorter than Palm, but it depends on its easy use, quickly accepted by the public. It also owns multifunctional system.
However, everything has both sides. PDA runs out of battery very quickly, it needs to be charged every five to eight hours. At early time, its function is easy, but it still can engulf the whole Europe and America. On the basis of these shortages, the PDA has been becoming more and more standardize. PDA has huge potential market value, maybe it will be a total new system, because it is quite different from Microsoft compute or maybe it will be domestic electronic equipment in the future.

The PDA was big at one time, but I don't believe it has much of a future. It has been great for getting rid of paper and pen for jotting down notes, but new technology today is eliminating the need for the PDA. Cell phones are now having the capabilities to do what a PDA can do, so why not just buy a phone with those capabilities rather than buying both? According to geek.com, the biggest demand for mobile devices is connectivity, and the lack of cellular service is killing the PDA. The advantage of buying a PDA is that it is cheap, but I think many people would rather have all of their information on one device. Therefore, they will lean towards getting a phone with all of the same capabilities and help the PDA become history.
