One of my favorite interfaces for interaction is Twitter. It is basically a social networking client that gives people all over the world a way to connect. You can update your twitter to say what your doing, what you plan on doing or upload media. Twitter is most enjoyable during big events such as the Superbowl, the Grammy Awards and any other awards shows. Seeing everyones comments are so funny.
The world of social networking has it positive and negative aspects. Facebook has reunited so many people and built so many relationships. It also starts trouble by letting people be something that their not via the internet. Overall, I am happy with the direction that interaction is going in our society today. It makes our lives easier and is time and cost effective.
Different countries have own different network to communicate online. To my surprise, it is very quickly to find friends and share feeling every day. Sometime, I treat them as chatting software. However, they just a kind of network. Because of these network, I can chat with old friends and make new friends.
ReplyDeleteI agree social networking can variate between countries.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem is hyper-connectedness. You can see examples in the computer lab and in class as people incessantly check their facebook pages. Its hard for me to believe that they all have such interesting lives that the incessant updating/checking is even remotely necessary.
ReplyDeleteI never really considered that twitter would have any real purpose. I thought it was just for people who thought facebook just wasn't enough. they had to make sure people know what their doing everyday allday. you know incase someone actually cared. i quess i can see how someone would enjoy this kind of social network.
ReplyDeleteThese social networking sites have changed society. Now people are much closer by being able to stay connected with family and friends like never before. I have noticed that I stay in contact with my relatives more because a majority of them are on and use Facebook every day.
