Hackers and Spyware

I know that many of you talked about spyware and hackers trying to hack your system by sending emails for you to open. Last year, I left my computer on and went to work. My aunt came over for a visit and used my computer, she also likes to open all of her emails which i totally disagree and have advised her not to many times but did not listen. Well she did open some emails on my computer, and it crashed within hours, lost all my files, photos, everything.

People need to understand how dangerous these spyware's can be. Not only they can crash your computer, but they can hack to your emails, and they try to find any information that can harm you and your identity. We need to have an awareness for computer users about not to open emails they are not sure about. If you don't know who it's from, dont open it!

I have dealt with many computer problems in my life. I've opened emails i shouldn't have, and also been to website's that are unprotected which is really disastrous. But the good thing about it is you learn from your mistakes and you move on. I forgave my Aunt, because well she is family, and I can't do anything about it.

If you want to read more about it , I found a great article

  1. I have gone through at least three PCs that have crashed because of spyware. I believe that half of it was my fault since I was downloading some not-so-trustworthy software, but the truth remains: Spyware is out there! It will crash your computer and it will cost you a ton of money and time to fix.

  2. I have had problems with computers crashing in the past too. My real concern though is for people like my grandma. She lets everyone use her computer and doesn't really understand how these things work.

  4. Well I think we have come to a conclusion. Majority of the computers affected by spyware have come in contact with the elderly. Maybe there should be a spyware seminar they can attend?

  5. It seems like no matter what you do with your PC at some point your gonna get a virus or some kind of problem. When I was younger I downloaded music alot. Now that i have stopped I noticed that my laptop has not slowning down or freeze nearly as much as my old one did. I think that what you do can really effect the life of your computer.
