Facebook And It's Interface

By now everyone knows about the famous website facebook. Over the years this website has grown greatly. When I first heard about the website I thought to myself this is something that I don't really need in my life right now. A few friends had it and pressured me into just setting up a page. I noticed the page layout and how it was so easy to communicate with friends around the country/world. To me the page layout is simple but also appealing at the same time. It's nothing too complicated and difficult to manage.

I now have a Facebook page and have had one for about 2 1/2 years now. The creator of the website Mark Zuckerberg says he created Facebook when he was just a college student and wanted a better way to communicate with peers other than using MySpace. I would agree that Facebook is such an easier thing to manage and control then MySpace.

Over the periods of time the new owner of Facebook has made some newer modifications to the website. A lot of the users don't really like the fact that Facebook keeps changing it's way of looking. Personally I feel the same way as well. Even though it doesn't take long to learn how to update your mind on whats happening. It's just the fact that people don't enjoy doing it every six to eight months.

  1. I'm the one who don't really like the fact that Facebook keeps changing it's way of looking. I should keep changing my habit.

  2. Im not a big fan of "change", but I like the latest update facebook has. It's easier to manage and even looks better. (I just hope it doesn't change anymore)

  3. Just remember to keep your Facebook page as clean as possible when it comes time to look for a job!

  4. I didnt get a facebook page until this school year so it has only changed once since I have had one. I think it is a pretty simple change and I'm sure that there was some reason unknown to most of us on why it has changed but I dont mind the change too much.

  5. I also have a Facebook page. I also have a Myspace. It was interesting to see how outdated Myspace became, and it will be interesting to see how long before the next "best" thing comes along and makes Facebook outdated. We will now have a thing, call it "cybertrash", to deal with in the future.

  6. Facebook is a very valuable tool if used correctly. I have had one since the begining of the school year, and it helps me to keep in contact with friends that are far away from me, and that I can not see on a regular basis. However there are many problems with the website, as it puts to much personal information out at times. Like Nick said in his comment, if you are ever looking for a job, make sure that your page is clean, because employers will look at your facebook before hiring you. As for the changes that are periodically made to the site. I feel that they are a good thing, because they make the sites operation easier, while adding new features.

  7. I can totally relate to you about not having a facebook for a really long time. And from what I can tell, it is so much easier to use and interact than myspace. I'll admit, I am one of those people who complain when they change, but I still adjust and use it anywat.
