It wasn't until Monday March 8, 2010 that I found out that the government owned different slots of radio waves. The lecture that day really made me think about some of the things I had been doing on my computer. For example password security! Its amazing how you may know hackers are out they're waiting to prey on people who slip up, but sometimes you tend to think it wont happen to you.
Another thing that was sort of take for granted by me was the benefit of having wireless capability. I remember when I first bought my wireless router. At the time I wasn't tired of the wire connection, but when I found out I could be anywhere in the house and connect I just made the transition.
As I think about it now it is ridiculous to have to have a whole office connected by wires. I just cant imagine how that ever worked!!

I have always know how important it is to have a really good password so that it way I have just learned to memorize these random sequences or upper and lower case letters and numbers. They never mean anything or make up any words but I truly feel that they a secure passwords.
