Another week, another blog! This week's blog is about cell phone spyware. I happen to be on a website and I overcame a video that caught my attention. A woman was being tracked and stalked by an ex boyfriend for two years. (To see the video click the link on the picture).I don't know about you but when it comes to something like this it is a serious matter. As said on the video, the spy ware is legal to sell but not so sure that its legal to use. I also read in an article that most spy ware is used to hack people phones for their information or even to stalk them.
On another note, some spy ware can be helpful when it comes to children. The spy ware may help the parent/s know where their children are at all times. The problem is when is it crossing the line. That is for you to decide.
I've never heard of camera spyware. I know the government can phone tap the cell phones, but i guess anything is possible. Realistically, anybody can stalk anybody. Most phones are equipped with GPS
ReplyDeleteI think that cell phone spyware is very creepy. I saw a television special on Tyra about a family getting stalked by a person who tabbed their cell phones and computers to find out where they were at all times.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just call phones we all post so much information about our lives in cyperspace there is no telling what it is being used for. There is little you can do if someone wants information on you it's all out there.
